The allure of London at New Year’s draws people from around the world. England’s history and culture come alive in a set of courses that offer business, healthcare, history and science.

Included are several class-specific activities plus a day trip to such locations as Bath, Stonehenge & Salisbury, Canterbury & Dover or Stratford & Warwick.

Governing after Brexit in London
Course Description: In this class we will examine how the leaders of the United Kingdom attempted to follow through on the 2016 referendum vote to leave the European Union. Through visits to Parliament, London's City Hall, and other sites, and by meeting with politicians and academics familiar with that process, students will gain an enhanced understanding of the complex issues involved in the divorce from the EU. And by immersing yourself in the local culture, you will see how Brexit divided Britons from each other and has been affecting the lives of ordinary citizens.
Prerequisite: Completion of one Political Science or Public Administration class for undergraduate credit; enrollment in Political Science or Public Administration graduate program for graduate credit.
