Students will explore the access and delivery of healthcare services in Honduras. The cultural, political, and societal impact on healthcare will be explored. Community engagement through the healthcare lens of prevention, promotion, and treatment will take place in a Honduran clinic.

Primary Objectives:
- Develop an awareness and sensitivity to cultural variations
- Utilize a culturally sensitive approach to the care of individuals and the community
- Demonstrate collaboration with health care disciplines and community leaders to provide care to the community
- Explore opportunities to improve the health of the community through prevention, promotion, and treatment
