Program Description

A 4 week, 6 credits, Spanish Intensive Language & Culture Course in Madrid & Alicante, Spain
PRE-REQUISITES:
GPA of at least 2.0
Interview with program director
Attendance at meetings.

MADRID
It is the capital and the largest city of Spain, being also the third largest city in Europe. It is geographically situated in the center, which makes travel and daytrips to other cities very convenient (Toledo, Segovia, Avila, Cuenca etc.). Madrid is the seat to the Spanish Government and the Spanish Royal Family. Madrid also offers endless opportunities to be immersed in its history, culture and art (museums, galleries, churches, parks, music and cinema.

ALICANTE
It is a port city on the southeastern Costa Blanca in the Mediterranean sea. Alicante is well-known for his crystal water beaches and picturesque villages (Altea, Javea, Denia, Tabarca Island, etc). It also boats cultural and medieval historical treasures (Santa Barbara Castle, Museum of Fine Arts, Archeological Museum, etc). Also, its most popular festival The Bonfires of San Juan in June attacks many international tourists.

$500 non-refundable deposit must be submitted no later than February 1st (students must give a copy of the deposit slip to the program director).
By mid-February, candidates must follow the instructions in the link below and complete the application forms in abroad office.
