COURSES:

BADM430: The Business of Military History Related to Tourism Along the Mid-Atlantic Seaboard (3 credit hours)
Students will investiage various military history-related tourist sites in the ports we visit through interviews, collecting available data, and through observation. This information will be used to develop recommendations to make these sites more effective from a management and/or marketing standpoint which will be presented as a written report to the selected organizations.

BADM 490: Independent Study in Business Tourism (3 credit hours)
This course introduces students to the business of tourism through the collection of available data and observation.

BADM 450: Internship in Leadership and Management in a Seagoing Organization (3 credit hours)
Students will observe and participate in the dialy workings of an 18th century sailing ship. They will keep a daily journal of activities focusing on both management and leadership initiatives of the ship's officers as well as aspects of team, development of the crew.
