Graduate Students While there aren't many package programs designed for graduate students, if you want to study abroad, there are many ways to make it happen. Citadel Departmental Programs Most Citadel programs will allow graduate students to participate in their undergrad programs for credit with by way of an independent study/ research component. This varies by program and it is up to the progam director to determine whether or not graduate students can participate. Internships/Practicum Experiences Abroad Students should check with their department or advisor to find out which specific opportunities exist that may offer an appropriate intercultural or international component. Directory of International InternshipsA guide to international internships sponsored by educational institutions, government agencies, and private organizations provided by Michigan State University. Independent Programs or Programs through Another University With an independent program, students pay program fees directly to the provider and receive transfer credit for approved course work upon successful completion of their program. Students to be sure to get the courses/credits approved before they participate in a program to ensure it will count towards their program requirements. *Please keep in mind that all Citadel study abroad programs (please see "Program Search"), may be available for graduate students.
