A 2-3 week study abroad experience for eligible engineering students. To find out more about eligibility requirements please contact Dean Welch. Students will experience the culture of Italy through art, infrastructure, attitudes, and food, and experience the application of engineering skills while studying historic structures such as The Pantheon and Colosseum.

In addition to applying you must submit 2-3 page paper to COL Welch by 7 March 2014.
It should address:
a. Why should you be selected to participate in the study abroad
b. What you expect to gain from this experience
c. Why this experience will help you achieve professional goals
d. Anything else that would help in making the decision of whom should participate

Once accepted, the only cost will be $900 to defer cost of travel and secure (non-refundable) your spot on the trip. Once the flight and hotels are booked, they cannot be transferred. You will need to pay $900 (cash or check made out to The Citadel, School of Engineering) by 4 April 2014.
