COURSE OFFERINGS

CRMJ 465/CRMJ 510/CSCI 227/ PSCI 433/ INTL 465 - Principles and Practices of Cybersecurity - 3 credits

CRMJ 465/ PSCI 336/ CRMJ 585/ INTL 465 - Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States - 3 credits

Note: Students will earn 6 credits by participating in this program. Courses are cross-listed, allowing students flexibility in course selection. Graduate course sections are also included.

•Estonia’s strategic position in the world and its Post-Soviet challenges
•Ideas and Images of Europe in EU-Russia Contested Borderlands (focus on Ukraine and Georgia)
•Comparative Politics and Government of the Baltic States
•Cooperation Among the Baltic States: Reality and Prospects
•Military Dynamics of the Baltic Region
•Intelligence Capabilities and Cooperation between the Baltic States

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

This 3-week study abroad opportunity in Estonia will take place at the University of Tartu. Given its strategic location and role in worldwide cybersecurity (it houses NATO's Cyber Defense Centre of Excellence), Estonia may be the most exciting country in Europe. Multiple day trips and overnight excursions to various sites will be included in the program.

-Students will have the opportunity to visit the following sites:
*Narva
*Tallinn - including US Embassy and NATO Center of Excellence for Cyber Defense
*Tartu
*Helsinki
