The students will be gaining academic, pre-professional and cultural experience. The students will gain 100 hours of experiential learning. This program is designed for students who want to study further in the health professions. As such, the more hours they can accumulate, the better it is for them. The program will award students with 3 credit hours as well as the hospital experience hours that are needed for their application to further studies.

The students will spend 5 hours a day shadowing at The Hospital of Lithuanian Health Sciences University. This is the largest healthcare institute in Lithuania, with almost 1400 physicians employed. The students will rotate through different medical specialties; there are 38 different clinical departments. The experience for foreign students is AAMC approved (Association of American Colleges) and according to their guidelines. The students will volunteer for a further 25 hours in total. There are different areas of volunteering which students can sign up for. This will include assisting at local schools and helping at an English language camp.

-Students will have the opportunity to engage in the following activities:
*Visits to Lithuanian Hospitals
*Serve as teaching volunteers at a camp for children
*Assist in a local middle school
