PROGRAM DETAILS The Political Science Department is seeking applications for the Fall 2024 Parliamentary Fellows internship program. This is a semester program (90 days to be exact) in which two cadets/students (MECEPs included) will intern in the UK Parliament and a London think tank. The program will be based on the Global Scholars model implemented by the college for various study abroad programs here at the Citadel. As such, you will be expected to pay tuition + fees just as you would if attending classes here on campus. For this program, your tuition and fees would cover the cost of airfare, a flat close to Parliament which you would share with your fellow internist, a $1000 monthly stipend for food and basic necessities, Oyster card (public transit), and 12 credit hours of coursework. These hours will include 2 PSCI internship classes (6 hours), one PSCI 498: Special Topics course (3 hours), and one online section of ELES 303: Immersive Cultural Experience (3 hours). COURSE INFORMATION Within the 12 credit hours of coursework, the courses will include 2 PSCI internship classes (6 hours), one PSCI 498: Special Topics course (3 hours), and one online course, ELES 303: Immersive Cultural Experience (3 hours). ELIGIBILITY Please contact Dr. DuBose Kapeluck with additional information regarding this program. Program Directors: Dr. Kapeluck: dubose.kapeluck@citadel.edu Prof. Collins: collinsb1@citadel.edu
