How to Get a U.S. Passport

Upcoming Passport Day Dates 

Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm
The Charleston Passport Center will be accepting passport applications during the 2019 Citadel Study Abroad Fair
Location: Regimental Commanders' Riverview Room, Coward Hall 203 

What to bring to Passport Day: 
  • Proof of citizenship - original certified birth certificate, naturalization certificate, citizenship certificate, previous U.S. passport or consular report of birth abroad 
    * Customers must also submit a front and back copy of their citizenship evidence
  • Provide valid photo identification - driver's license, state identification card, employment ID, military ID, or student identification which is only accepted in combination with 3 other pieces of identification
  • Provide one recent passport photograph (2" x 2") - photo must be on white background
  • Pay passport fees by check or money order ONLY (payable to the Department of State)
    $145 for first time application | $110 for renewal of 10 year passport | $115 for application of a minor
    For expedited services add Expedite Fee of $60 | Add $16.48 for overnight delivery
